I am going to get an XBox 360 for my birthday and I want to know if there is a subscription fee for XBox live. If there is, how much on what basis?

I just got xbox live and I’ve been trying to play it. I already hooked it up, I got the 1 month subscription but whenever I try to play a game live, there isnt any matches that are found. I have tried to play: Burnout 3:Takedown, Pocketbikeracer, and Big Bumpin. Is there anything wrong with my xbox live or is it just because of the games I’ve tried to play?
I own the games and am trying to play them with other people.

Another 360 vs ps3 war debate?

Now i don’t know about you whether your for the ps3, 360 or both (wii dosen’t count i don’t consider a workout machine video game console….lol) but one thing i have noticed on this site and others about the question “should i get a 360 or ps3?” is that 360 fanboys(and no iam not a ps3 fanboy i own both consoles and love them) keep saying that the 360 has more exclusives than the ps3. and after looking at all the games that are currently out or at least coming out soon, i would that is most likely a true statement. (now this is going to ps3 360fanboys off) however one thing i have notice that most the 360 exclusive aren’t good quality, at least most don’t stand to titles like gears of war or metal gear solid 4, now iam not saying all 360 exclusives suck, there are some greats like gears 1&2, halo 3, halo odst, fable 2, forza 2 &3, and some of the best selling games for the 360 are multi. platform games like GtaIV, assassins creed, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Madden NFL 09 (heres the list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_Xbox_360_video_games) as you can see out of the top 11 there are only 5 exclusives.

now on to ps3 exclusives
There is metal gear solid4, Gran turismo 5, god of war 3 (360owners don’t even start askingfor this game to be ported over its not going to happen only possible on the ps3, and its owned by sony) killzone 2, heavenly sword(not as good as god of war but still good), infamous, little big planet, uncharted 1&2. now not every ps3 exclusive is better than a 360 exclusive for example gears of war is way better than resistance 1&2

If I get Dead Or Alive 4 and log into Xbox Live, will the glitches be fixed?

In about a month or so I will be buying my first Xbox 360, so I’m already purchasing the video games online. A fighting game I’m looking at is Dead or Alive 4. If i get the game and log onto Xbox Live, will a patch fix the problems at all?

Well after doing a vast amount of research and finding out about xbox 360 and their reliablity, i found out they were on sale these holidays here in NZ, i found out about the jasper chip and that they only existed in newer consoles mostly arcade ones.But problem is i went to go buy myself a 360 at eb games, and i found the Pro 60gb bundle for $100 more but with 2 free games and more accessories so i thought id take my chances and get it. However i could not check to find out the amps on any of the console packs at any stores because they were all empty resale boxes…even asking the staff they refused for me to look before ill buy it. But i heard falcons are nearly is good as the new jaspers? should i take my chances and keep it? has anyone here experienced failures with the falcon? i really dont feel like returning it because ive saved a couple of things on the hdd and ive deleted some content within the hdd which came with it.

What Xbox 360 should I buy?

I’ve been stashing away a few EB Games gift certificates for the last year (mainly because I’ve forgotten about them) and have around $200 dollars worth. I’ve been considering buying an Xbox 360 because I’m been pretty dissatisfied with my Wii and I’m intrigued by some of the games available for it, but I’m really confused by all of the different “versions” and “bundles” of the Xbox 360 that are available.

Can anyone help me out? I’m trying to avoid those holiday bundles with the crappy Lego Batman games that I know I’ll never play. It doesn’t necessarily have to be within the $200 limit either, I just don’t really know whats available. Thanks.

i know left4dead, tekken 6, rainbow 6 vegas 2 (sounds like the scoreboard of a soccer game ^^), halo3(only 3player+ fun) and sonic allstar racing, resident evil 5(only 2 players), soul calibour 4(like tekken)
and the ones that weren’t fun at all: call of duty, graw, gow

looking for / need advice on xbox360 deer hunting games?

My boyfriends birthday is coming up. I’d like to get him 1 or more xbox 360 deer hunting games.

My boyfriend enjoys hunting deer, sometimes turkey. Mostly deer.

One day we were shopping he noticed a wii deer hunting game that included a gun for the game and he lit up and wanted it so bad. However we only have an xbox360.

I looked online, and the only xbox360 deer hunting games I could find are
Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2010 for xbox360
Cabela’s North American Adventures for Xbox360

My questions are:
1.) Do you know anything about eather of those games listed above?
a: do they work?
b: which one is better and why?
c: tell me a little about what you do in the game
d: or are they both not worth buying
